Membership of AUCO is open to NGOs, Firms and individuals with keen interest in cycling and or urban mobility.
Such NGOs, firms and individuals must be resident in Africa, or have substantial interest in cycling and urban mobility development in Africa.
Obtain and complete the membership registration form from the secretariat or through the website
Appoint a representative for your organisation (corporate registrants only).
Note that membership of AUCO is free but an annual membership fee in the following amount will be charged: $100 for individuals, $150 for NGOs, $200 for firms and $500 for Government Agencies. The secretariat will send the demand notice at appropriate time.
Attach to the registration form and send to the AUCO secretariat a copy each of the following:
A letter from a referee (individual) or the CEO of your organisation nominating you to represent the organisation (corporate).
Core mandate of your organisation (corporate)
Statement of experience (Individual).
Evidence of residency in Africa: National ID, resident permit (individual).
CV with photocopies of educational certificates (Individual).
Certificate of incorporation (Corporate)
Internationally accepted ID: International Passport data page, National ID.
Proof of cycling or urban mobility interest in Africa.
Published works/brief on ongoing projects on cycling or related field (if any).
Corporate registrants will be allowed to have 2 of their staff/members to attend AUCO meetings and other functions and be given a corporate certificate which is expected to be displayed in the Chief Executive's Office.
