
Christine Naigaga Kawuma is a Development Economist, social worker and capacity building change agent. She has a passion for climate change through the promotion active mobility, and also engaged in promotion young women through leadership mentorship.
With professional experience in the areas of Non-Motorised Transport, gender, social enterprise and climate change. She studied Bachelor of Business Administration at Busitema University (Namasagali University), and a Master of Science in Development Economics from Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi –Uganda.
Christine has a great passion, skill, experience & interest in people empowerment, sustainable development, climate change and gender, research, women and social enterprise. She is also an excellent communicator, assertive, and very passionate about sustainable urban transport and climate change.
She is the current secretary to the Africa Urban Cycling Organization (AUCO) and the operations officer of Adonai Establishments dealing in real estate and hosting for Airbnb in Kampala and Uganda Sustainable Transport Network (UST- Network)
She is currently the Operations Manager and spearheading a change agent position in Uganda Fishnets Manufacturers Ltd in Kampala. She is great at networking and forming synergies, given her exposure, the multi-sectoral and multi-dimensional nature of her profession and her rich experience. Her passion and commitment towards development, mobility and women is unrivalled.
